Late as usual...
A/V Cruelty
- The John Davidson DVD has created quite a stir, check out the cover here!
We mourn the passing of our very first critic Glynn Vernon with a retrospective look at his ground breaking video, via a Guardian Obituary and some other inappropriatness
Caned - we just about made it back from Amsterdam intact so we've updated the guide, plus we added a couple of wastey films for viewing.
Bill Hicks - We've located another musician sampling Bill.
Modern Deaconists - the mocking continues, plus we've got other JD related material here including some new Deacon musings, another entry in the Great Deacon Challenge and once again some very wrong poetry. The survey update has been postponed until the end of the year where we'll be presenting the finale of our five years of Deacon Data collection!
Shallow Grave Awards: Many quality entries this month for your hate filled delight, but it's going to be the last update here until the new year and our move to a new home server.

We also had a couple of Critics lined up for your entertainment, however they've retracted their views now!

Our email was screwed when we migrated from Outlook Express to Outlook 2000, so we've lost a load of Shallow Grave Nominations, a fair few Deacon pics, plus we've lost our entire subscription database, combine that with working on another project and we've got lateness & low content :-(
All we can do is to humbly ask you to resubmit and re-subscribe and bear with us as we've got a few new features planned for the next update!

Caned - we finally tracked down a decent UK Coffeeshop
Shallow Grave Awards
: Don't despair! Some survived the mail crash, a heady mix of new and the old favorites who are repeat offenders.
Modern Deaconists - we've managed to keep one after the crash, but we do have a couple of new Reader's Memories.
A/V Cruelty - Caption hell returns with an OAP special
Links - we've added a new one

01-10-2002

OK - we're being a bit cheeky calling this an update as essentially fuck-all has changed, but our main bit of news is we're going to make a switch to bi-monthly updates.
The main reasoning behind this is pressures of work are keeping us from hitting publication deadlines and developing new material for the site.
We're still trying to catch up with replying to emails that are over two months old :-(
Hopefully by publishing every other month we'll be able to get more new features online within a reasonable time frame.

So the next update is going to be 1st November as the two month period started from September and subsequent updates will be every other month from November onwards.

To keep regular readers & contributors informed of updates we're going to start trialling an email newsletter which is going to used to keep you informed of updates and of Spleen! type happenings - for more info click here!
